City Under Seige

Carved out of limestone in the late 18th century, this labyrinth of tunnels was constructed as a massive defense system by the Royal Engineers of Great Britain to ward off attacks by France and Spain during the "Great Siege." Once inside, wander the darkened hallways as you make your way to Windsor Gallery and onto St. George's Hall, where a battery of seven guns was stationed during the war.
