Norwegian Cruise Lines

One of the top performers in the Caribbean market, Norwegian Cruise Line offers a very consistent, family friendly product. Norwegian is the pioneer of "Freestyle Cruising", which offers it's guests the option to dine when they want, where they want. The Freestyle policy offers a more informal, relaxed and flexible style of on board service. All the NCL ships are being retro-fitted to allow for the freestyle elements of open seating dining, more restaurant choice, more staff, lifestyle and well-being programs and more guest-friendly disembarkation (with none of the hustle to get y ou off the ship first thing in the morning). This approach has proven so sucessful, that many other cruise lines are adopting the policy.

Norwegian cruises seem to attract a younger, more lively crowd, but not quite as young or lively as the crowd you would find on many Carnival ships. They also provide excellent childrens programs on all ships, with the Norwegian Star (Hawaii) having arguably the best childrens programs at sea (when considered against Disney, this is really saying something).

Couples looking for that romantic touch on the Norwegian Sky should ask for a dining reservation in the elegant "Horizons Restauratn", which specializes in tables for two. Also be sure to visit le Bistro and Gatsby's Wine Bar.
