Disneyland Ò / Southern California Vacation Packages

First Timers Guide

The first thing you need to decide is when you want to travel.  One of the great benefits of vacationing in Southern California is that it's climate remains fairly consistent all year round.  Here is a look at the climate over a twelve month period (from April 99 thru Mar 00).  While it's impossible to predict the weather in advance, this should give you a good idea of what to expect:

For Disneyland Ò, the busiest times of the year are around all the major holidays (including Presidents week), Spring break, and the summer vacation months.  January, April, September, November and parts of December are the slowest times of the year (historically speaking).

It's important to remember though, that while Disneyland Ò is a wonderful destination in and of itself, that the average family can experience the park in about 2 days.  The pages that follow give you information on many of the other vacation options you have when visiting Southern California.  Before proceeding, have a good idea what dates (or times of year) you are interested in traveling, as prices for various resorts vary based on time of year.
