 Plantation shutters slide in place behind the glass balcony doors. You can adjust them to take advantage of the cooling ocean breezes which are used in lieu of air conditioning at this unique resort. When you combine the sound of the Pacific with the refreshing salt air, you can be assured of “sleeping like a baby” when you snuggle into your comfortable bed for the night.
The well appointed bathroom has a double sink which is separate from the shower/toilet area. There’s a bathtub if you want to settle in for a soothing soak. A lighted make up mirror and hair dryer are provided.
 The rooms have a mini-bar and you can stay in touch via the high speed internet access. Settle into the comfortable seating area and you’ll never want to leave this relaxing setting.
A delightful turndown service is included. When you re-enter your room, you’ll hear gentle sounds from the CD player. On your bed are robes displayed with bottled water, chocolates and a breakfast menu if you wish to order in. It’s the perfect start to a memorable evening.
Splashes Restaurant looks out over the Pacific. You can enjoy your meal while listening to the surf below, or you can order room service from this location. For a change of venue, there are charming local restaurants that are within walking distance or a short drive away.

 The Laguna Beach Surf & Sand Hotel has grown from a 12 room destination opened in the 1940’s to a luxury 165 room resort. While it’s an amazing transformation, it does come with challenges should a guest be wheelchair bound. We cannot recommend this resort should you have no mobility as neither the beach nor pool is easily accessible.
Laguna Beach itself is a wonderful eclectic community. Established as an art colony in the early 1900’s, you can still see the influence of the artists who call Laguna home. Galleries and specialty shops are everywhere. Don’t make the mistake of thinking it’s too upscale for your taste. It’s the perfect blend of artistry in a fun and vibrant setting. Whether you’re a movie star or visitor on a budget, you’ll find plenty to see, do and dine at without breaking the bank.
