ROOMS:

Magnolia BendAs with most moderately priced resort rooms, the 2048 rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside are 314 square feet. A typical room has 2 double beds (or one king-sized bed), armoire, nightstand, telephone, television, small table with 2 chairs, luggage rack, wall mirror, ceiling fan, closet area and 2 pedestal sinks with mirrors that are in a vanity area separate from the tub and commode. A small key-operated wall safe to hold your valuables, is located in the closet area. If you find this is not large enough, safety deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk. Guests who need to connect to home or work via the Internet while vacationing will find a computer data port near the nightstand and will not have to disconnect the telephone to use it.

Alligator BayouThere are rooms available with a king-sized bed. Some of these may be handicapped accessible rooms and have wheelchair-accessible showers in place of tubs.

Another special feature found only at the Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside, are the trundle beds. These are small beds, just big enough for a child under the age of 9, that pull out from underneath a double bed and are available in the Alligator Bayou section only. There is a charge of $15/night plus tax for the use of these. There are trundle beds in many of the guest rooms at Dixie Landings but they are not offered in handicapped accessible or king bed rooms.

Roll-away beds may be requested for siblings who do not wish to share a bed, (there is a $15 per night charge for this). Also available are bed boards and bed rails and cribs (the pak-n-play variety). Call Housekeeping to request. If there are more than 2 adults in the same room, there is an additional charge of $15 per person, per night.

The following are available by calling Housekeeping, but supplies may be limited: irons and ironing boards, coffee makers (coffee is available for a fee), bottle warmers, hair dryers, down pillows, extra blankets, extra towels, International Electrical Adapters, and heating pads.
