Guests of the Best Western Lake Buena Vista will enjoy complimentary transportation to all 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks, the 3 water parks and Pleasure Island. Pick-ups for the Theme Parks are scheduled every 30 minutes from 1 hour prior to park opening until 2 hours after the parks close. For transportation to the water parks, check with the Guest Services desk for the scheduled morning and afternoon pick-ups. Pleasure Island bus transportation is offered every 30 minutes from 6 p.m. until 3 a.m. Downtown Disney Marketplace and Downtown Disney West Side are only a 10-15 minute walk along a walkway set away from the main road. Buses are available to take guests to Universal Studios Florida for a $10 per person round trip fee. At this family friendly hotel, children 18 and under stay free.

moderate resorts, the rooms at the Best Western Lake Buena Vista
Resort Hotel are spacious and comfortable.The Standard Deluxe
rooms are decorated in the Caribbean theme with light bleached
wood furnishings with tropical colored accents .These guestrooms
hold a maximum of 4 guests and most rooms have two queen-sized
beds (or one king-sized bed), a nightstand with clock radio, telephone,
dresser, table and chairs.The satellite TV has the Disney channel,
and pay-per-view movies and Nintendo games are available for an
extra charge. There is a vanity area outside of the full bathroom.
Other amenities include a coffee maker (coffee and tea is complimentary),
iron and ironing board, hair dryer and a decent sized electronic
safe. Guests who need to connect to home or work via the Internet
while vacationing, will find a computer data port in each room
but be sure to bring your local Orlando ISP phone number with
you. Spacious private balconies are furnished and some have magnificent
views of Epcot and parts of the Magic Kingdom.The Queen Preferred
rooms can hold up to 5 guests and include a larger balcony and
a queen sleeper sofa in the sitting area.Roll-away cots are available upon request for a charge of $10 per night.Crib's are available free of charge. While all rooms are wheelchair accessible, 2 of the guestrooms are specifically designed for the comfort of physically challenged guests.

DINING
From 7 a.m. until 11 p.m., Traders International Restaurant and Terrace offers diners a delicious selection of American and Caribbean cuisine. Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. until 11 a.m. and features an American breakfast buffet that includes a create-your-own-omelet bar, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, pastries, muffins, cold cereals, fruits, and coffee, tea or milk.The restaurant closes for lunch and re-opens at 5 p.m. for dinner to offer a wide variety of options, from snack-type meals to gourmet cuisine. Early Bird specials are available until 9 p.m. and a children’s menu is available. Prefer lighter fare? Then the normal">Parakeet Café will be right up your alley with a selection of hot and cold sandwiches, salads, pizza, snacks, special breakfast and lunch entrees and beverages.This take-out location is open from 7 a.m. until 11 p.m. for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Hotel
Plaza Boulevard is home to the Downtown Disney hotels. These
hotels are on-property and can therefore offer some of the amenities
that guests of the Walt Disney World Resorts enjoy.
On 12 acres of lush property on the shore of Lake Buena Vista,
you will find the Best Western Lake Buena Vista Resort Hotel.
The upper floor of this 18-story rounded triangular shaped hotel
offers magnificent views on all sides. The hotel offers spacious,
well appointed rooms with private balconies.
As
you enter the portico, you feel as though you have been transformed
into a Caribbean resort as the tropical plants, gaily floral
print fabrics and rattan furniture lend to the West Indian flavor.Themed
after a Barbados plantation manor house, the lush tropical landscaping
of the outside grounds, compliments the décor within. Of
course as an official Walt Disney World Resort Hotel,
touches of Disney add to the fun of Best Western. A golden
statue of Mickey Mouse oversees things in the lobby where you
will find the Registration Desk, Bell Services and the Guest
Services desk where you can purchase Disney Multi-Day Tickets.
A circular staircase that leads up to the conference center
on the mezzanine level, has a display of classic scenes from
some beloved Disney movies.
Guests
who just want to sit, relax and sip their beverage of choice will
enjoy the Flamingo Cove located next to Traders.Open from
4 p.m. to 11 p.m., this comfortable lounge offers cocktails and
gourmet coffees.If you like an atmosphere with a little more action,
from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. Toppers Night Club is situated on the
18th floor and offers a breathtaking view of the surrounding
area, including Epcot’s Illuminations fireworks/laser show. Live
entertainment is offered until 2 a.m.
Lush
tropical foliage surrounds the pool area, which is open from 10
a.m. until 11 p.m. This pool is heated in the off-season to make
it comfortable year-round for guests. The children's wading pool
is set off to the side with lots of chaise lounges for parents to
keep an eye on the little ones, in comfort. Restrooms found poolside
are adequate for changing and towels are available poolside.
