Adventure Daily Itinerary
Your first day in The Big Apple gets off to a big start with a whirlwind adventure on wheels that lets you see some of Manhattan's most iconic landmarks - including the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, Madison Avenue, the Chrysler Building and Radio City Music Hall. Following lunch at an authentic New York pizzeria in Times Square, the afternoon is set aside for a moving visit to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. Afterward, head over to the city's famed Tribeca district for a welcome dinner at Tribeca Grill, a popular local restaurant.
This morning, go behind the scenes of ABC's Good Morning America at Disney's Times Square Studios. From the green room to the set, you have a front row seat as the cast and crew make TV magic! Next, step back in time as you explore one of New York's most unique neighborhoods on the guided Harlem Heritage Tour, with a special stop at the legendary Apollo Theater. Following an unforgettable lunch at a local soul food, establishment, it's time for a guided walk through world-famous Central Park past such popular sights as the Alice in Wonderland sculpture, Bethesda Fountain and The Mall. Dinner finds you at The Lower East Side Tenement Museum for a fascinating look at the lives of the immigrants who helped build this great city.
Day Three & Four
After breakfast at the '50s-themed Ellen's Stardust Diner, where you'll be entertained by "Broadway's best free show," stroll over to the New Amsterdam Theatre, where you not only take a private tour of this historic landmark, but also visit its amazing prop room - filled with items from major Disney stage productions - and even have the chance to try on some of the costumes. Next, it's time to hoof it over to a local theater workship to learn to dance like a Broadway star. The rest of the afternoon is yours to explore the city until early evening when everyone gathers for a farewell appetizer and cocktail reception before attending the latest hit Disney musical at the New Amsterdam. The next morning, do a little more sightseeing before heading to the airport or train station for the trip home.
