Grand Cayman Shore Excursions

The following applies to all excursions:
You should never feel that gratuities are expected, but it is customary to leave a tip in recognition of exceptional service in restaurants and taxis and for excursion guides and drivers. It is always up to you to determine the amount.


Aquaboat and Snorkel Adventure (2.5 - 3 hours)
Drive through the translucent waters of the Caribbean as you captain a rigid inflatable motorboat for a tour of Grand Cayman's picture-perfect shores. Note: each boat can accommodate a maximum of two Guests. Single travelers may have to share the boat with another Guest. Guests must be 18 and older to drive.
View an abundant variety of marine life as you snorkel Governor's Reef and the world renowned sunken shipwreck, the Cali. (Alternate sites may be substituted due to weather or other circumstances).
Tour includes all gear: mask, snorkel, fins, snorkel safety vest and life jacket.
- Guests must be 18 or older to drive the boat.
- Guests must be ambulatory. Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters.
- Each boat can accommodate a maximum of two Guests. Single travelers may have to share the boat with another Guest. 500lbs maximum combined weight.
- Guests should be in good physical condition to participate in this excursion.
- For safety reasons, expectant mothers, Guests with heart or respiratory conditions and those with back/neck injuries cannot participate.

Atlantis Submarine Expediation (2.5 - 3 hours)
Prepare for an underwater adventure like no other! Take a 30-minute ferry ride before boarding the Atlantis XI submarine where you'll dive down and revel in the underwater vistas of the Caribbean amidst an array of marine life. Enjoy it all from the charming confines of a working passenger submarine as a guide narrates and unravels the mysteries of the deep blue sea.
- Guests must be at least 36 inches or taller to participate on this excursion.
- Guests must descend a ladder into the submarine.
- Guests must be ambulatory. Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters.

Boatswain's Adventure Marine Park (4.5 - 5 hours)

Take a scenic drive upon an air-conditioned Mini-Bus to this coastline paradise. Boatswain's Adventure Marine Park boasts bountiful beauty, but it's also full of activities that are sure to delight the whole family. This shore-side retreat is teeming with exotic animals, so prepare to get up close and personal with some of the island's native inhabitants! Explore the historic Caymans Turtle Farm. Home to over 11,000 green sea turtles that range in size from six ounces to six hundred pounds, this nature preserve is the only one of its kind in the world. View giant turtles in the massive breeding pond, and learn about the conservation efforts to preserve these magnificent creatures. And, you can hold young sea turtles for an exclusive photo opportunity!
Be amazed at the 1.3 million gallon Boatswain's Lagoon, an impressive environment that hosts hundreds of tropical fish. Then, come nose-to-nose with sharks and other creatures of the deep as you peer through the Predator Tank! Finally, dive into the brilliant Breaker's Lagoon and cool off in crystal waters. Hungry? Munch on lunch at Schooners Bar and Grill, where you'll be tantalized by delicious local Caribbean cuisine. If you want to opt for something different, check out the Turtle Crawl Deli or Breaker's Snack Shack for quick bites.
Discover the wonders of the island on our Nature Trail, and encounter different species of lizards, butterflies and plants that are indigenous to the region. Finally, explore Cayman's history with a stroll down Cayman Street and see local artisans working traditional trades like rope making, thatching, 'ole' time cooking and more! And take home a piece of paradise when you visit the impressive Gift Shop located in the reception building. This is a day you won't ever forget!

Catamaran, Reef and Kittiwake Snorkel Sail (3.5 - 4 hours)
Start your tour with a short, 10-minute air-conditioned bus transfer to Seven Mile Beach, where you will board your luxurious catamaran and meet your crew.
After a safety briefing, head out for a short sail to the first of 2 snorkeling stops. Enjoy approximately 45 minutes of snorkel time at the USS Kittiwake shipwreck. The USS Kittiwake is the newest warship sunk off the coast of Grand Cayman.
Move onto the second snorkel destination, a shallow reef, where schools of fish and abundant marine life await your approximate 45-minute exploration.
Relax on the return sail to Sea Grape Beach and enjoy complimentary water and lemonade.
Arrive in Georgetown after the approximate 10-minute transfer. From here, you can shop on your own or return to the ship.
- This tour is not available on Disney Wonder itineraries out of Miami.

- A cash bar is available onboard. All alcoholic drinks will be served only to Guests age 21 and older, and after all water-related activities are finished.
- Guests should consider their physical fitness level and medical history when determining whether this tour is appropriate. A medical waiver is required before starting this tour. Guests with cardiac conditions, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, other heart or respiratory conditions or any other medical condition should take particular caution when selecting a tour with snorkeling/swimming elements. Guests who have concerns should consult with their personal physician before engaging in any activity that may be strenuous for them.

Discover Native Cayman & the Saltwater Forest (3 - 3.5 hours)
Depart George Town, the capital of the Cayman Islands, and take a narrated drive in an air-conditioned mini-Bus to world famous Seven Mile Beach for a photo opportunity against a stunning backdrop of beautiful turquoise water.
Continue to the West Bay area to experience historic Cayman. Visit Caymanian cottages of traditional design and stop to see local artisans at work, including a selection of original silver thatch crafts.
Next, take a short bus ride to the Yacht Club where your boat will be waiting to take you on a ride to the nearby mangroves, or saltwater forest, which make up one of the most unique ecosystems on earth.
Enjoy informative commentary from your expert local guide, discover resident birds, baby fish, starfish, tree-climbing iguanas, tickle a jellyfish and learn about the importance of this ecological community without getting wet. Sample a taste of fresh Cayman lemonade aboard the boat!
Take the 15-minute return drive to the pier in downtown George Town.
- This tour is available to All Ages; since it involves a boat/vessel, infants under 3 years of age must have a child's ticket.
- Wheelchairs need to be standard size and collapsible; no electric wheelchairs permitted. Additionally, Guests must be able to board the boat and bus unassisted.
- The order of the sites visited may vary.

Dolphin Encouter and Turtle Farm (3.5 - 4 hours)
Get up close and personal with dolphins in an interactive encounter you'll never forget before enjoying free time at the Cayman Turtle Farm.
After a 30-minute bus ride to Dolphin Discovery Cayman, take in an informative orientation and receive your lifejacket. Then, immerse yourself in three feet of water for a fun-filled 30-minute encounter where you're invited to touch and play with these gentle creatures of the deep. During the hands-on experience, examine the dolphin's smooth skin and delight in its gentle demeanor. Practice and learn some of the techniques the trainers use to communicate with the dolphins and discover how to feed them. Delight in a very special kiss and "handshake" from the dolphins and enjoy a "dance" with your new mammal friend.
At the completion of your program, you'll have time to view the photos and personalized DVD of your program, followed by 45 minutes free time to explore the world famous Cayman Turtle Farm.

- For ages 3-12: An adult 18 years or older must be booked on the same Dolphin Encounter and Turtle Farm excursion.

- The Dolphin program takes place in approximately three feet of water in a controlled sea water environment and Guests will be standing on a metal grate platform. Guests are encouraged to wear water shoes.
- There is no minimum height requirement for Dolphin Encounter.
- For safety reasons, Guests interacting with Dolphins are not allowed to carry cameras, including waterproof ones.
- Guests must be able to descend 12 steps into the water and be able to stand on the platform throughout the Dolphin Encounter.

Dolphin Extreme Swim and Turtle Farm (3.5 - 4 hours)
Experience the thrill of swimming freely with Dolphins and the exhilaration of a "belly ride" during this one-of-a-kind adventure.
After a 30-minute bus ride to Dolphin Discovery Cayman, take in an informative orientation and receive your lifejacket. Then, immerse yourself in three feet of water for a fun-filled 30-minute encounter where you're invited to touch and play with these gentle creatures of the deep. At the completion of your program, you'll have time to view the photos and personalized DVD of your program followed by 45-minutes free time to explore the world famous Cayman Turtle Farm.

Grand Cayman Golf (5 - 5.5 hours)
Get ready for a first rate round of golf on Grand Cayman's premier golf course, North Sound Club. Designed to complement the Caymanian terrain, and taking into full account the natural obstacles of prevailing ocean breezes, narrow fairways and an abundance of water and sand, this 6605-yard, par-71 course is set against the North Sound, making for both interesting play and panoramic vistas of the Caribbean Sea.
Take the short 10-minute drive to the club, located on West Bay Road and close to the famous Seven-Mile Beach waters. A round of golf at North Sound is a must for avid golf fans or the amateur looking to spend a day of leisure on the island. Green fees and a shared cart are included in your ticket price.
At the end of your round, take the short drive back to the pier.

Discover the sights and sounds of the Caribbean on this two-hour bus excursion through the streets of Georgetown, the capital of Grand Cayman, before arriving at the unique black rock formations known as "Hell." Afterward, visit the world-renowned turtle nursery, the Cayman Turtle Farm, and spend some time with these fascinating creatures.
- Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes on this excursion, which includes extensive walking.
- The stops at the rock formations and the Turtle Farm will be approximately 20-30 minutes each.

Take in the authentic island atmosphere as you bask in the sun on a hammock after a light lunch, then delight in a friendly game of volleyball before immersing yourself in the crystal-clear blue waters of the Caribbean.
- This tour is available to All Ages; since it involves a boat/vessel, infants under 3 years of age must have a child's ticket.
- Travel time is approximately 1 hour in each direction.
- Water sport equipment rentals are available at an additional cost.

Rum Point Beach Adventure and Stingray City Snorkel (5 - 5.5 hours)
Hit the beach at Rum Point! Kick back, relax and soak up the sun on white-sand beaches before boarding a glass-bottom boat where you can catch a glimpse of the multitude of marine life in their natural habitat. Journey to Stingray City and make a splash with real-live stingrays as you snorkel alongside these captivating creatures. Afterward, enjoy a light lunch and take in the sights of this Caribbean paradise.
- Lounge chairs are available on a first-come first-served basis.
- Snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel and required snorkel vest - fins are not permitted at stingray city) and instruction are provided.
- Snorkeling is from the boat.

Sea Trek Helmet Dive (1.5 - 2 hours)
Dive down deep into the crystal-blue waters of the Caribbean and come "face-to-fin" with an array of tropical fish and coral formations in an amazing helmet-diving experience. Receive full instructions before placing the specially designed oxygen helmet over your head and immersing yourself below sea level for 30 minutes of fun-filled fish feeding and a guided underwater tour.
- Guests must read, complete and sign the SEA TREK Participant Record & Liability Release and bring it with them when checking in for this tour.
- For safety reasons, expectant mothers, Guests with heart or respiratory conditions and those with back/neck injuries cannot participate.

- Guests do not require diving or snorkeling experience.
- This excursion includes a five-minute walk to the Sea Trek base.

Seaworld Explorer Semi-Submarine (1.5 - 2 hours)
Go below the surface without ever getting wet as you explore the Caribbean from the underwater observatory of a partially submerged semi-submarine. Experience the fascinating wonders of life below the surface of the sea aboard this narrated tour, which features unique coral formations, two spectacular shipwrecks and colorful tropical fish.

Seven Mile Beach Break (3.5 - 4 hours)

Soak up the tropical ambience and enjoy a refreshing beverage from your cozy beach chair as the tropical breezes surround you and invite you for a swim in the crystal-clear blue waters.

- Transportation to and from the beach is provided by an air-conditioned mini-bus.

Shipwreck and Reef Snorkeling (2.5 - 3 hours)
Embark on a amazing snorkeling adventure as you explore one of the Caymans' most famous underwater sites, the 220-foot, shipwrecked steel schnooner, the Callie. Afterward, continue your tour of the deep with a visit to a nearby tropical reef, and marvel at the remarkable coral formations and the colorful, tropical fish that surround you.
- Snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel, fins and required snorkel vest) and instruction are provided.
- Snorkeling is from the boat.
- Snorkel time at each site is 30-45 minutes.
- Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters.

Shipwreck Snuba (1.5 - 2 hours)
Take a short 5-minute walk to the Snuba facility.
After a short briefing on the easy to use Snuba gear, you'll be divided into small groups and enter the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea.
Your guide will lead you on an approximate 45 minute tour of some beautiful coral formations and show you the many multicolored species of fish that surrounds you. Plus view a large shipwreck!
Experience the thrill of swimming deeper than you could with snorkeling, without the burden of the scuba gear or the need for certification. Note: Approximate depth is 5 to 20 feet.
Watch as the experienced guides feed the fish, and look out for the huge resident tarpon that inhabit the reef. Don't forget your underwater camera!
Walk approximately 5 minutes back to the tender facility or enjoy some shopping in Georgetown.

- For safety reasons, expectant mothers, Guests with heart or respiratory conditions, who have had chest surgery, diabetes and Guests with serious sinus congestion may not participate. In addition, Guests must fill in a medical questionnaire and release form before being allowed to participate.
- No previous snorkeling or dive experience necessary, however Guests must feel comfortable swimming in open water.
- Complimentary water is provided from a cooler. Bottled water and soda are available for purchase.
- Guests are encouraged to bring currency or credit cards to purchase optional extras such as souvenirs or underwater cameras.

Stingray City Reef Sail and Snorkel (3.5 - 4 hours)
Set sail on a 65-foot catamaran for a delightful seafaring adventure as you voyage to a shallow reef for 45-minutes of fun-filled underwater exploration and enjoyment. Snorkel amidst unique coral formations and tropical fish as stingrays glide past you from all directions during this guided underwater adventure you're sure to never forget.

- Complimentary water and beverages are provided.
- The reef is 10-20 feet under water.
- Snorkeling is from the boat and this tour does not visit the sandbar.

Stingray City Snorkel Tour (3.5 - 4 hours) Get up close and personal with real-live stingrays in an enchanting underwater encounter. Take in an approximate 15-minute bus ride and a 45-minute boat trip before enjoying a stingray snorkel adventure in 4-6 feet of crystal-clear Caribbean seawater amidst a natural sandbar. Swim among and even feed these mysterious yet gentle creatures of the deep!
- Guests will enter the water from the boat.
- Snorkeling equipment (mask, snorkel and required snorkel vest - fins are not permitted at stingray city and instruction are provided.
- Only Stingrays—no fish—will be seen on this excursion.
- Ice water provided after snorkeling.

Two Tank Dive Tour (4 - 4.5 hours)
Dive down to an amazing depth of 80 feet and explore the underwater landscape of the famous Cayman Wall where tropical fish, giant sponges and a captivating collection of corals await. Then, retreat to more shallow water and journey through the crystal-clear Caribbean to a natural reef, where a spectacular sunken ship awaits.
- This excursion is for certified divers only. Guests must provide a valid certification and photo ID onboard and have completed at least one dive in the past two years. Before diving, Guests must be ready to inform staff what equipment is required.
- Lockers are available for Guests to store their personal belongings.
- Guests under medication or with any medical conditions will not be permitted to dive.
- Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to participate.
- Price includes BCD, regulator, tank, weight belt, mask, snorkel and fins. Wetsuits will be provided at an additional cost.
- Please note that dive knives are strictly prohibited on this excursion due to current weapons laws.
- Wheelchairs (collapsible or electric) are not permitted. Tour operators will deny participation to Guests arriving in wheelchairs or electric scooters.
