 In Disney’s California Adventure™ park, you can play, party and dance with your favorite Disney/Pixar pals in Block Party Bash, the wildest, most interactive parade in Disney history! Groove to fun party songs, delight in amazing acrobatics, and laugh along with the Pixar Film Pals as they explode onto the streets of Disney’s California Adventure park inviting you to party with them! The energy of this show-stopping, musical parade extravaganza will have you exclaiming “What a party!”
- "a bug's land" - A whimsical land where you can enjoy everything from a bug's perspective. Here you'll find giant garden hoses, pebbles and blades of grass that tower over you. An old umbrella becomes a circus tent and used boxes become fun-filled attractions. Flik's Fun Fair features attractions specifically designed for younger children.
- Golden State - This section represents California’s rich history, from the gold rush days, to the beautiful natural wonders, to its aeronautical achievements. You’ll share in the rich diversity of California’s culture as you tour the Golden State.
- Hollywood Backlot - The Hollywood Picture Backlot is a tribute to Hollywood past and present. Classic architecture sets the tone and transports you to Hollywood’s Golden Age. From the legendary Hyperion Theater to the Hollywood Tower Hotel, everything old is new again when a generous touch of Disney magic is applied. Entertainment is the focus with spectacular stage shows, a game show, an insider’s look at the animation process, and a hotel with a very quirky elevator.
- Paradise Pier - This colorful land, set alongside a beautiful lagoon, is Disney's tribute to the carnivals, amusement parks and boardwalks of old. Here you'll find thrill rides galore and plenty of old-fashioned fun. At night the whole area lights up and the sights and sounds are simply wonderful!
- Sunshine Plaza - The entry way to Disney's California Adventure, the Sunshine Plaza consists of two portions, the Golden Gateway and the Gateway Plaza. The Golden Gateway actually starts outside of the park, and here is where you'll find the giant letters spelling out CALIFORNIA. On either side you'll find the giant tile murals representing various points of interest in California, the golden state. Upon entering the park, you'll cross under the replica of the Golden Gate bridge. The monorail will cross over this bridge throughout the day. As you enter the Gateway Plaza, you'll see the focal point, the giant sun. You are now in the hub of the park, and from here can head off to the various other areas in the park.
