Day 1

Arrive in Cairo
‘Ahlaan Wasahlaan Bikum! Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, Adventures by Disney Guests will be escorted to a VIP lounge while your passports are processed and your luggage is reclaimed. You will then be taken to your waiting vehicles for transfer to the hotel, The Nile Ritz-Carlton, Cairo.

Bask in the elegance that surrounds you in this luxury hotel that offers world-class services and amenities that are fit for a pharaoh. Pamper your senses with lavish, Cleopatra-inspired spa treatments, delicious meals at distinctive restaurants and an Olympic-sized swimming pool with deluxe cabanas. Day 2

Welcome Breakfast at the Hotel
Say "Sabaah al kheer!" to greet your fellow adventurers in Egyptian Arabic during an exclusive buffet breakfast in the hotel's Moroccan restaurant. After the meal, your Adventure Guides will provide an informative orientation to your upcoming itinerary.

Old Cairo Tour
Join an Egyptologist for a privately guided tour of Egypt's most iconic and historic monuments. Discover the The Saladin Citadel of Cairo and the Great Mosque of Muhammad Ali.

Lunch in Al Azhar Park
Dine in a gorgeous oasis in the urban desert where you will find yourself surrounded by traditional Islamic landscapes ripe with a variety flora, intersecting waterways, sunken gardens and bold Islamic geometric design. The park, which was a gift from Agha Khan IV, an ancestor of Cairo’s founders, is listed as one of the world’s 60 great public spaces by the Project for Public Spaces.

Afternoon on Your Own
Enjoy an afternoon of exploration as you discover the sites, shops and markets of this stunning city. Find souvenirs and keepsakes at one of the city’s flea and street markets where you’ll find everything from old perfume bottles to silky pashminas and local crafts and jewelry. There are also dozens of landmarks, sacred sites, ancient ruins and mosques to visit.

Welcome Dinner at the Hotel
Share your day's experiences with your fellow adventurers at this exclusive 3-course dinner. Savor your choice of meals from a set menu of international and Middle Eastern specialties as a stunning view of the Nile River stretches before you.

Evening Entertainment
After dinner, sit back and let the dulcet strains of Arabic music enchant you as local musicians perform on traditional instruments such as the qanun, oud, nay and riq.

Day 3

The Pyramids of Giza & Pharaoh's Solar Boat Museum
After breakfast at the hotel, meet up with an Egyptologist for a tour of the Great Pyramid and the Sphinx. Then enter the Khufu Boat Museum and see the pharaoh's painstakingly restored "sun boat" that archaeologists unearthed beside the Great Pyramid of Khufu in 1954.

Lunch at the Pyramids
Enjoy lunch at the sumptuous Mena House Hotel, home to the celebrated Khan El Khalili Restaurant offering a grand view of the pyramids and a buffet of delicious Egyptian dishes.

Grand Egyptian Museum Visit with an Egyptologist & King Tut Collection Viewing
Tour this esteemed museum, dedicated to preserving the past 7,000 years of Egyptian history, with an Egyptologist who will give you insight to the museums exhibits.

Your private tour continues with a viewing of the spectacular Pharaoh Tutankhamun Collection, which features a breathtaking array of treasures discovered in the tomb of the young boy who became Pharaoh at the age of 9. While the adults continue to delve into the King Tut exhibit, Junior Adventurers will learn more as they participate in a fun, interactive King Tut Art Detective Game.

Dinner at Naguib Mahfouz Restaurant
Gather with your fellow Adventurers in the 1,000-year old Khan El Khalili Market in Old Cairo for a meal at the Naguib Mahfouz Restaurant, whose dramatic décor features its own oriental museum.

Stroll Through Khan El Khalili Market
Make your way deep into a bustling bazaar, also known as a souk, and experience scenes right out of Disney's Aladdin! Narrow alleyways wind past medieval archways through a dizzying display of tables and booths selling silver, rugs, pottery and more. As you explore the souk, stop by the fascinating Islamic monuments along the way.

Day 4 

Depart Cairo for Abu Simbel
After a buffet breakfast at the hotel, say goodbye to Cairo and fly to magical Abu Simbel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with two of the most magnificent temples in the world! Explore the area with an Egyptologist and learn the unbelievable story of how these extraordinary monuments were saved from the rising Nile waters.

Lunch at Old Cataract Hotel
Dine in true Nile style on the edge of the Nubian Desert at this luxury hotel wrapped in a 19th-century Victorian palace.

The M/S Tulip
Welcome aboard the M/S Tulip, your Nile cruise ship docked in Aswan. This "floating hotel" provides comfortable accommodations on your 3-night cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Enjoy the cool Nile breezes from your French balcony as you pass iconic monuments on the river banks—such as the Temples of Philae and Edfu— the vast Sahara desert stretching into the horizon.

Felucca Sailing on the Nile River
With a local expert at the helm, venture forth across the placid emerald waters of the First Cataract for a scenic excursion. This is where the ancient Egyptians believed the god of the Cataracts dwelled, controlling the flow of the sometimes destructive waters.

Souvenir Shopping in Aswan
After you disembark the felucca, stretch your legs and stroll the colorful souk in the center of Aswan. Fortunately, the souk offers many tempting shopping opportunities.

Dinner On Board the Ship
Join your fellow Adventurers for your first meal aboard the M/S Tulip.

White Elephant Game & Nubian Folkloric Show
Prepare for an evening of fun! The ship's crew sings, dances and performs live music as part of a vibrant Nubian Folkloric show after playing a White Elephant Game with the souvenirs you picked up in Aswan.

Day 5

Temple of Philae
Start your day with breakfast on the M/S Tulip before boarding a motor launch to cross the mighty Nile to the Island of Agilkia, home to this famous temple, the Temple of Philae. With an Egyptologist as your private guide, explore the towering columns and mysterious hieroglyphs devoted to the goddess Isis.

Lunch On Board the Ship
Take a break and dine aboard the ship with a BBQ buffet lunch featuring fresh salads and grilled meats. Afterward, henna artists paint striking tattoos on willing arms and hands.

Egyptian Cooking Class
Don your chef's hat and apron for this hands-on cooking demonstration where you will learn from a chef how to make two Egyptian specialties and a tasty dessert! After the lesson, enjoy baklava with tea and coffee as you drift by the banks of the Nile.

The Temple of Kom Ombo
With an Egyptologist toward the end of the day, explore this double-temple that was long ago dedicated to the Crocodile-headed god, Sobek, and the Falcon-headed god, Horus (also known as "The Good Doctor"). Watch the sun as it sets on the Nile, spilling golden light on the waters.

Junior Adventurers Dinner and Disney Movie Night
As adults indulge in a restful meal onboard the MS Tulip, Junior Adventurers enjoy a private dinner with the Adventure Guides. Afterward, before everyone bids each other messa el rir, parents can curl up with their young ones for an exclusive engagement in the ship's lounge to watch a Disney movie.

Day 6

Horse and Carriage Ride
The day starts with a breakfast on the ship before you disembark and travel to the Temple of Edfu. Also known as a calash or hantoor, you'll travel past the fascinating city sights.

Tour of Edfu Temple
An Egyptologist introduces you to this beautiful, well-preserved temple dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. Hear mesmerizing tales about gods and goddesses such as Isis, Hathor, Osiris and Horus before you discover the courtyards, storerooms and sacred artwork at your leisure.

Lunch On Board the Ship
Cruise down the Nile as you enjoy a casual buffet lunch.

Junior Adventurer Hieroglyphics Activity
Junior Adventurers will head to the ship’s lounge where they will learn to write their name using hieroglyphics.

The Temple of Luxor
Colossal statues of pharaohs and gods pose regally between the imposing columns and obelisks as you tour this vast temple complex. Enter the temple right at sunset as dwindling daylight soaks the horizon with golden rays. Picture the breathtaking grandeur of a pharaoh's parade as you wander down the Avenue of the Sphinxes, the royal processional path that connects Luxor and Karnak temples.

Sit down for a delightful dinner in your ship's restaurant and share stories about the day's events.

Day 7

Famous Temple Exploration
Fuel up with a breakfast buffet before heading out to explore the famed location of over 60 tombs for pharaohs and nobles on the West Bank of the Nile. Then, you'll join an Egyptologist for a privately guided tour of the treasures discovered in the tombs of both King Tut and Ramses VI.

The Temple of Karnak
Your Egyptologist takes you on a private tour of this monumental temple complex. Countless columns, obelisks and carvings fill the three main temples of this extraordinary open-air museum, bordered by the Sacred Lake of Amun-Re.

Valley of the Kings with an Egyptologist
Continue your exploration of archaeological wonders with a visit to the Valley of the Kings. The Egyptologist will guide you through the massive landscape that contains 63 known tombs of royalty and privileged nobles, as well as 4 Pharaohs—including King Tutankhamun.

Travel to Sharm El Sheikh
After lunch, depart on a short flight to the coastal city of Sharm El Sheikh along the Red Sea.

Coral Sea Sensatori Resort
Relax as your Adventure Guides check you into the Coral Sea Imperial Sensatori Resort Sharm El Sheikh overlooking the grand Ras Nosrani Bay.

Private Beach Dinner Party
Gather on the hotel's private beach for an exclusive party just for Adventures by Disney! Lounge amid the swaying palm trees as you indulge in a hearty feast.

Day 8

Red Sea Snorkeling at Ras Mohammed
After breakfast at the resort, board a private yacht and set sail to some of the most ravishing coral reefs in the world. Snorkel all day at Ras Mohammed National Park, the renowned underwater reserve that's home to over 130 kinds of coral reefs and over 1000 varieties of fish. Don the snorkeling equipment provided and plunge into this heavenly marine metropolis.

Lunch On the Boat
Take a break from your deep-sea discoveries and have a bite to eat on the boat before you return to snorkeling.

On Your Own Time at the Resort
Upon your return from snorkeling the reefs at Ras Mohammad National Park, spend the afternoon immersed in resort activities, or just relaxing by the pool.

Dinner at the Resort
Join your fellow Adventurers in the resort’s main dining area for an international buffet featuring a wide variety of choices to please all palates.

Outdoor Disney Movie Night
Top off the evening with a special treat as you sit back and enjoy a Disney film on the resort's outdoor movie screen complete with popcorn.

Day 9

A Day at the Resort
After breakfast, spend the first part of the day luxuriating in the amenities of the Coral Sea Sensatori Resort. Melt under the expert touch of a masseuse at the world-class spa. Go parasailing, water skiing or scuba diving. (Additional charges apply for spa treatments and sports activities.) Bask in the sun at the poolside. Or explore the shops for last-minute souvenirs. Then enjoy lunch at the resort before boarding the short flight to Cairo in the afternoon.

Farewell Dinner and Entertainment
Bid a fond farewell to your fellow Adventurers during this private dinner at the hotel as dancers and musicians hold you spellbound with their exotic movements and rhythms. Afterward, enjoy a special surprise as you relive the memories of your trip with your newfound friends.

Breakfast and Transfer to Airport
