Day One

Arrive in Porto

Bem vindo a Portugal! Collect your luggage, exit baggage claim and meet up with an Adventures by Disney representative who will greet you as you enter the main terminal. Relax as a driver assists you with your bags and takes you to your hotel.

Check-In at the Hotel

Upon your arrival at the InterContinental Porto, your Adventure Guides will welcome you and check you into the hotel, as well as offer recommendations of nearby local sights for you to explore before dinner.

Meet up with your fellow Adventurers for a festive welcome reception and dinner where your Adventure Guides will set the stage for the amazing adventures that await you.

Day Two

Enjoy a hearty breakfast and get ready for a day of discovery.

Tuk-Tuk City Tour

Take to the streets of Porto on a unique, privately guided tuk-tuk tour. Board one of the 3-wheeled electrically-powered vehicles and see city sights that include: Lello Bookshop, regarded as one of the world’s most beautiful book stores; São Bento Railway Station, home to a stunning display of iconic blue and white ceramic tiles depicting life in Porto, Portugal’s history and the history of transportation; the Church of San Francisco, the most prominent of Porto’s Gothic structures that features a gorgeous Baroque interior; and the Miradors of Porto’s Cathedral and the Monastery Serra do Pilar, each located on high hills that offer stunning panoramas of the city below.

Enjoy a delicious meal in this popular eatery that features delicious food amid a comfortable atmosphere full of Portuguese character. Not to be missed is the Francesinha, Porto’s celebrated stacked sandwich.

Porto Bridge Climb OR Teleférico de Gaia

Ascend the massive arch of the Porto Arrábida Bridge on a slow, calm climb—the only bridge climb of its kind in Europe—where you are rewarded with a spectacular birds-eye view of the entire city. For Adventurers who prefer to take to the sky, the Teleférico de Gaia offers a cable car alternative that provides breathtaking views on your journey between the antique Dom Luis I Bridge and Porto Wine Cellars.

Tour & Port Wine-Tasting

Marvel at the fantastic display of iconic blue and white ceramic tiles that adorn the walls of the Pinhão Railway Station as you hear stories about their depiction of the area’s rich history.

Douro Valley Wine Estate: Cooking Class & Cellar Tour

Following your transfer to Quinta da Pacheca, one of the Douro region’s best estates, you will experience a private, hands-on cooking class that features iconic dishes from the Douro Valley region using the freshest local ingredients. Follow your ride to Lisbon with a relaxing morning aboard a private yacht. You’ll cruise along the scenic Lisbon waterfront with expansive views of the city as you hear stories about Portugal’s rich history of exploration and navigation.
