Acapulco Shore Excursions
Cliff Divers Show & Restaurant (4.5 - 5 hours)

You'll begin with a two hour city tour focusing on some of Acapulco's most popular beachfronts including a photo stop at Linda Vista. Next you arrive at the LaPerla Restaurant located in the Hotel Mirador. You'll have the perfect open air view of the La Quebrada cliff divers as they leap from dizzying heights of 90 to 130 feet to the sea below. While you watch the show, a delicious Mexican buffet lunch is served. You and your tablemates can have a complimentary photo taken with the cliffs of La Quebrada providing the dramatic backdrop. Following your luncheon and show, you'll take a tour bus to Zocalo, the Main Square, where you can shop for a half hour before the 10 minute ride to the ship.

Acapulco Family Beach Break (4 hours)

The Coco Loco Beach Club is host to your day in the sun. A 15 minute ride brings you to the beach located in the center of Acapulco Bay. The Coco Loco Beach Club has lounge chairs, shaded tents, a beach volleyball court and water tubes for your enjoyment. A lunch buffet with open bar is included. After your three hour day in the sun, you'll take a 15 minute ride back to the ship.

Aca Beach Club (4.5 hours)
Meeting Time: 10:30am
This adults only destination is one of Acapulco's finest private beach clubs. Your one hour sightseeing tour brings you to your destination. You can relax on a cushioned recliner or swim in the surf or beautiful pool during your two hour stay. A wonderful buffet lunch is served with two complimentary drinks. Your return trip to the ship takes approximately an hour.

Acapulco Highlights Tour (4.5 hours)

There's nothing better than sightseeing combined with shopping. Your day starts with a 20 minute ride to see the cliff divers of LaQuebrada. Another 20 minute ride brings you to Fort San Diego which dates back to 1617. This Spaniard built fortress is home to a museum dedicated to the history of of Acapulco. Another 20 minute trip brings you to the Costera, the start of Acapulco's Golden Coast. This is one of the city's best shopping districts with wonderful handmade souvenirs. You'll want to sharpen your bargaining skills as negotiation is always part of the sale. You'll spend an hour shopping before the 20 minute trip back to the ship. NOTE: The order of stops can vary.

Acapulco Horseback Riding (4 - 4.5 hours)
Meeting Time: 10:15am, 12:45pm
You'll tour the Mexican countryside during this leisurely tour. A 45 minute ride brings you to the ranch where you'll be given instructions before mounting your horse and heading out on a one hour guided tour. You'll pass through verdant vistas, trot past fragrant fruit trees, gurgling streams and a coconut farm. You'll ford a river and ride through a quaint village. Upon returning to the ranch, you'll be given a box lunch and beverages before your 45 minute return trip to the ship.
NOTE: You must be in good physical condition and weigh less than 240 pounds. Long pants and closed toe shoes are recommended.

Papagayo River Rafting Adventure (5.5 - 6 hours)
Meeting Time: 11:00am
You'll tackle the rapids on this rafting excursion. Your one hour trip from the ship brings you to Pueblo Bravo where you'll enjoy a delicious coconut drink before getting your safety instructions and gear. Next, you'll board your raft and your guide will take you on your adventure down the Papagayo River. Your two hour raft ride brings you past imposing cliffs and through rock formations. You'll be paddling through category 2 rapids in your race down the river to a rush of whitewater. From here, there's a 5 minute ride back to Pueblo Bravo where a box lunch is served. The return trip to the ship is approximately 75 minutes.
NOTE: Due to variable water conditions, this excursion will only be booked while onboard the Magic. You must wear either heel strap sandals or water shoes on this excursion.

Cultural Walking Tour (4.5 hours)

The history and culture of Acapulco is yours to explore as you take this intriguing guided tour. The tour starts at Fort San Diego, which is a brief 15 minute walk from the ship. From this starting point you'll learn of Acapulco's rich Spanish heritage. After you stroll for 10 minutes, you'll arrive at a unique mask shop before taking a 15 minute walk to Zocalo. This was the hub of Acapulco in its early development. This lovely tree shaded area is home to a variety of restaurants and shops which are yours to enjoy and explore for approximately an hour before your 20 minute walk back to the ship. You're welcome to stay and browse if you prefer and return to the ship at your leisure.

Golf At Mayan Palace (7.5 - 8 hours)

With views of the Pacific Ocean and the Sierra Madre mountains, this challenging course is known for its beauty. This is a par 72 championship 18 hole course covering 6,507 yards. You'll arrive at the Mayan Palace after a 1 hour scenic ride from the ship. A caddy and cart will be provided. Amidst palm trees and tropical greenery, you'll tee off and begin your day spent playing this demanding course. Once you're done, you can relax at the full service clubhouse before your hour long trip back to the ship.
NOTE: The cart and caddy are club requirements. The caddy gratuities are included in your fee.

La Roqueta Island Getaway (4.5 hours)

A boat will pick you up from the pier for your 25 minute trip to La Roqueta Island. This lovely spot has outstanding views of the Pacific Ocean and Acapulco. For three hours you can relax, swim and snorkel while you enjoy the beauty of this tranquil spot. A traditional Mexican buffet lunch is served and you'll be treated to a performance of native folk dancing. The colorful costumes add to the experience and are a definite photo op. The return trip to the ship is 25 minutes.

Mexican Folkloric Show (4 - 4.5 hours)

This theatrical presentation is a musical tribute to the history of Mexico. The Mexican Folkloric Troupe will perform dances form the Michoacan, Puebla, Veracruz, Nyarit and Jalisco cultures. There will be a performance of the Aztec fire, rain and flowers ritual which signifies renewal. The theater is located approximately 30 minutes from the ship. While at the theater, you'll enjoy two complimentary beverages. Once the show is over, there's a 25 minute ride to downtown Acapulco where you can shop for an hour before the 15 minute ride back to the ship.

Shot Over Jet Boat Ride (3 - 3.5 hours)

If you're a thrill seeker, this excursion is for you. After a 65 minute ride, you'll arrive at the Shot Over base. (A brief stop is taken along the way at El Mirador for some great photos of this scenic overlook.) Once you arrive at the base, you'll head to the pier where the Shot Over jet boat is waiting. Get ready for takeoff as you are piloted into the jungle aboard your speedboat. The driver will maneuver around the mangroves of the Puerto Marques lagoon while traveling at hear tpounding speeds. You'll spin and make breathtaking turns as you plunge further into the jungle landscape. After your invigorating one hour boat ride, there's a 45 minute ride back to the ship.

Cici Water Park (5 - 6 hours)

Splish Splash, get ready for some fun in the sun at the Cici Water Park. There are slides, a lazy river, a wave pool, a children's area, and there's even a dolphin show. After a 20 minute ride, you'll arrive at this fun destination and be given a wristband. From there, you can enjoy all of the attractions at this colorful and playful park. While at the park's restaurant overlooking the beach, you'll have your inclusive lunch. There are two departure times for returning to the ship. The trip takes 20 minutes.

El Mercado & Cliff Divers Experience

It's not everyday when you can shop and watch cliff divers, but that's exactly what this excursion offers. You'll embark on a 1 hour and 25 minute ride to El Mercado. Along the way you'll stop at Linda Vista for photos and take a 20 minute tour of the Chapel of Peace. When you arrive at El Mercado, you'll find an abundance of brightly colored stalls where merchants offer handcrafted items, fresh produce and flowers. From here, there's a 30 minute ride to the La Perla Restaurant at the Hotel Mirador overlooking the La Quebrada cliffs. You'll have the perfect open air view of the La Quebrada cliff divers as they leap from dizzying heights of 90 to 130 feet to the sea below. While you watch the show, a delicious Mexican buffet lunch with complimentary beverage is served. You and your tablemates can have a complimentary photo taken with the cliffs of La Quebrada providing the dramatic backdrop. From the hotel, a short 5 minute walk brings you to Plaza Taxco where you can do a bit more shopping. Next, you'll board the tour bus for the 10 minute ride to Zocalo for another 30 minutes of shopping at this Main Square. Finally, there's a 10 minute return trip to the ship.

Dolphin Encounter (4 - 5 hours)

This excursion takes place at the Cici Water Park. After a 20 minute ride, you'll arrive at your destination where you'll be escorted to the marine mammal encounter area. You'll receive instructions before you enter the water and you'll stand on a platform which is waist deep below the water's surface. For approximately 30 minutes you'll interact with the dolphins while under the watchful eye of the trainer who will assist you and answer your questions. When you're done with your amazing adventure, you can enjoy the Cici Water Park's rides and attractions. A complimentary beverage and lunch is served. There are two departure times for the 20 minute trip back to the ship.

Dolphin Swim Adventure (4 - 5 hours)

This excursion takes place at the Cici Water Park. After a 20 minute ride, you'll arrive at your destination where you'll be escorted to the marine mammal encounter area. Once you've completed a 10 minute training session, you'll head into the water for a 30 minute swim with the dolphins. A trainer will be close at hand to assist you as you enjoy the ultimate interactive dolphin experience. When your wonderful adventure is over, you can enjoy the Cici Water Park's rides and attractions. A complimentary beverage and lunch is served. There are two departure times for the 20 minute trip back to the ship.
