Journey into a lush and tropical
land where you can join Indiana Jones™ on a thrilling adventure, take a riverboat ride through jungle waters,
climb through Tarzan's Treehouse or be entertained by some crazy
singing birds! All of this and more awaits you as you adventure
through this land.
ATTRACTIONS
Aladdin and Jasmine at Aladdin's Oasis - Join Aladdin and Jasmine as they take you on a Storyteller Adventure. Don't forget your camera and autograph book. Check current schedule for times. Restrictions: Inaccessible to strollers
Enchanted Tiki Room - This sit-down show features Disney's first audio-animatronic performers,
with birds, flowers and tiki poles in a comic singing show (the
song they sing WILL run through your head the rest of the day, guaranteed!).
The pre-show begins outside about five minutes before the main show.
This is a great place to sit down and relax and enjoy some air conditioning
on a hot day. Shows are presented every 20 minutes on the hour.
The show is wheelchair accessible, and assisted-listening devices
are available (see a Cast Member for details).
Indiana Jones™ ADVENTURE - This is the BEST Disney offers! Go on an amazing motion simulator
journey with Indiana Jones™ as he travels deep into the jungles of India to the Temple of the
Forbidden Eye. Watch out for poison darts, bats, rats, snakes ("why
does it have to be SNAKES?") and of course that famous huge
boulder along the way. The queue for this ride takes you through
Indy's camp, and is rich with detail. Check out the truck - that
is the actual truck used in the movie, in the scene in which Indy
is dragged underneath at very high speeds! Each of the 16 troop
transport vehicles has its own ride control and audio systems, resulting
in more than 160,000 possible rides combinations! Guests
in wheelchairs must transfer from the chair to ride. Minimum height
to ride is 46 inches. Guests with back, neck or heart problems,
pregnant women, or those affected by motion sickness should not
ride. Video captioning is available in select pre-show portions
of the ride (see a Cast Member for details).TIP - Indiana Jones™ is
a VERY busy ride! To avoid long waits, ride it first thing in the
morning or late at night, or during parades or shows.
JUNGLE CRUISE - This
narrated riverboat ride takes you through jungle waters, where you'll
see lions, tigers, elephants, attacking natives and more. Each boat
skipper puts his or her own "spin" on the narration, and
a humorous skipper greatly increases the enjoyment of the ride!
The boats are based on those found in the Humphrey Bogart film "The
African Queen." This ride is especially fun at night. Guests
in wheelchairs must transfer from the chair to ride.
TARZAN'S TREEHOUSE - This
attraction replaced the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse in 1999,
and is based on the Disney animated feature Tarzan. Guests climb
stairs up to and walk through the treehouse featuring scenes and
characters from the movie. After exiting the tree, you can visit
the "Trashin' the Camp" scene and meet some live jungle
creatures and their handlers. Characters from the movie also meet
guests and sign autographs at the base of the Treehouse, at various
times during the day. This attraction requires full mobility to
navigate.
RESTAURANTS & REFRESHMENTS
BENGAL BARBECUE - Located
across from Indiana Jones™,
this counter service restaurant features spicy beef, chicken and
vegetable kabobs, as well as fruit kabobs with yogurt dipping sauce.
Specialty coffees and drinks are also available. Healthy sections
and vegetarian options are available. This place is a favorite of
many Disneyland regulars!
Tropical Imports - Next
to Indiana Jones, this cart sells fresh fruit, healthy snacks and
assortment of cold drinks.
TIKI JUICE BAR - Near
the entrance of the Enchanted Tiki Room, this is where you'll find
the famous Dole Whip, as well as fresh pineapple and pineapple juice.
