FANTASMIC! - Presented on the Rivers of America, Fantasmic is an eye-popping
and amazing show complete with laser-projected images, fireworks,
water-bound floats, music, lighting effects, fog and more! The story
follows Mickey as he battles against some of Disney's nastiest villains
but
don't worry, in the end good triumphs over evil!
The show lasts 23 minutes and during the summer is presented nightly,
with two showings on selected evenings. During the off-season, Fantasmic
is only presented on weekends when it is not down for rehab. If
it's windy or raining, the show will be cancelled, and an announcement
will be made on the PA system in the area.
Because this show is very popular and there is no seating area,
staking out a viewing spot is crucial. On crowded days, it's not
unusual to see people staking out their viewing spot two hours or
more in advance. If there are two showings of Fantasmic when you
are there, opt for the second showing if you can - it is generally
much less crowded.
Another option is to reserve one of the limited advance seats available
at either the balcony overlooking New Orleans Square outside the
Disney Gallery or seats near the Tom Sawyer Island Raft Dock. These
seating areas offer desserts and a variety of hot and cold beverages.
Current pricing is $41 for the Dessert Buffet on the Balcony and
$40 for the Tom Sawyer Seating Area for adults, and $30 for children
ages 3-9. Reservations can be made up to 30 days in advance. Call
(714) 781-4400 to reserve.
Remember…Dreams Come True” Fireworks - This dazzling fireworks show features Tinker Bell in a sparkling
extravaganza accompanied by a beautiful symphonic score. The show
takes place over Sleeping Beauty's castle, and the prime viewing

facing the castle. Crowds become VERY heavy in Main Street prior
to the show, so don't plan on trying to get through the area during
the fireworks.
